(Photo by Candice Ward/Getty Images) It’s never too early to start looking ahead to the 2025 fantasy football season. In order to familiarize ourselves with some of the possible values for next season, we’re going to be looking at some ADP per Underdog Fantasy. Underdog is a best ball platform for real money, making this a good place to pull ADP from. The drafters here are very serious and it’s really the only place to find people drafting this far out. Once we get closer to the season, my articles will be based around ESPN draft rankings and a number of other traditional platforms. With that being said, let’s take a look at the top three quarterbacks to target in 2025 fantasy football. 3 QBs To Target In 2025 Fantasy Football Justin Fields ADP: QB12 With a starting job again, Justin Fields is also worthy of starting for your fantasy team. Despite not being a great NFL quarterback, Fields has a cheat code. His rushing ability. In more fantasy leagues, rushing is worth significantly more than passing. That’s why when Fields had 1,143 yards on the ground, he was averaging 19.7 PPG. This is despite only throwing for 2,242 yards that same season. The Jets aren’t a great situation, but it’s not bad either. Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall and Mason Taylor are all solid weapons for Fields to throw, too. What’s most important is the Jets have shown they’re willing to invest in their offensive line. By taking Armand Membou with the 7th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Fields should feel very confident in his right tackle. Drake Maye ADP: QB14 Heading into year two, Drake Maye is poised for a massive breakout. Maye was the 3rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and showed flashes with a rough receiver room. After adding Stefon Diggs and Kyle Williams (Rookie), the Patriots wide receiver room is looking a lot better than last year. Williams is one of the biggest sleepers from the NFL Draft and if he can break out in 2025, Maye will have a great outside receiver to rely on. The other thing with Maye is that he offers rushing upside. While it wasn’t on full display last year, Maye had 421 rushing yards in 13 games. To see his true ceiling, though, just go back to college, where he had 698 yards on the ground in 2022 and then 449 in 2023. Keep in mind that this counts sacks as negative rushing yards. If Maye can tap into his rushing ability a bit more, he’s poised for a massive 2025 season. EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY – NOVEMBER 17: Quarterback Anthony Richardson #5 of the Indianapolis ... (Photo by Luke Hales/Getty Images) Anthony Richardson ADP: QB27 Anthony Richardson is the riskiest player on this risk, and he’s only worth a late-round flyer. While the downside is there for Richardson, when you bake in his upside, he should be higher than QB27. Especially because in traditional fantasy football leagues, you’re not going to be rostering two quarterbacks most of the time. Just like Fields, Richardson may not be a great NFL quarterback, but he has rushing upside. The thing with Richardson is that he’s been injured in both of his first two seasons, which makes him an even bigger risk. That being said, Richardson has shown flashes of being a top five quarterback in fantasy. In 2024, Richardson had more than 20 fantasy points in four of his 11 games. Since Richardson was the 4th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, I expect him to start for most of 2025. If that’s the case, and Richardson puts things together, he could be the steal of your fantasy draft.
