Key figures of Cardano take a leave of absence, ADA falls below $0.2 for the first time in five years

According to CoinDesk, the Cardano token ADA has fallen below $0.2 for the first time in five years. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson stated he would "take a break" and warned that the Cardano ecosystem is about to face a wave of project "failures." Previously, the Cardano community had canceled the originally scheduled flagship summit for 2026 and rejected several key treasury proposals, leading outsiders to believe this has intensified market uncertainty regarding ecosystem governance and prospects.
