MoonPay Launches AI Crypto Agents on Telegram

MoonPay has introduced its AI crypto assistant, MoonAgents, on Telegram, allowing users to interact with the assistant via the messaging platform. This integration enhances the existing MoonAgents desktop app by enabling users to access their AI assistant while away from their computers. Users can create a custom bot through BotFather, link it to the desktop app, and request market analysis, transaction preparation, and blockchain monitoring. Telegram was selected for its user-friendly bot creation interface, despite its widespread use in the crypto community. MoonPay's Agents Product Lead, Kevin Arifin, noted that the design ensures users are not reliant on Telegram, as all conversations are saved on their computers. This allows users to continue interactions with their AI agent through the desktop app, even if Telegram becomes unavailable.
